To help jumpstart or accelerate your career in data analytics, UNT has created flexible degree and certificate options. All core courses are available 100% online and taught by dedicated faculty with deep industry experience. Courses are also offered at the UNT Denton and Frisco campuses for those who prefer an in-person experience. The curriculum is project-based, providing participants a variety of practical experiences in solving real-world business problems.

Dr. Orhan Erdem's research focuses on behavioral finance, investor psychology, and financial crises. Formerly leading the Research Department at Borsa Istanbul (Istanbul Stock Exchange), he boasts a decade-spanning academic career, teaching across continents including prestigious institutions across three continents like Rockford University, Texas A&M University-Commerce and the University of Texas at Dallas, Bilgi University, and Universidad Europa de Madrid.

His educational journey began at Boğaziçi University, where he earned both his M.A. and B.S. degrees. He went on to achieve a Ph.D. in Economics from the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona. He has authored three books, including "After the Crash," a comprehensive analysis of the enduring impact of the 2008 Great Recession on global economies. Dr. Erdem also founded Erdem Consulting LLC, providing financial consultancy and training to financial institutions. His dedication to education is exemplified by his teaching contributions, numerous publications, presentations at international conferences.
