The Department of Advanced Data Analytics will be officially moving from the Toulouse Graduate School to the College of Science on August 15, 2025. With this transition, the department will be renamed to the Department of Data Analytics & Statistics.

The Department of Data Analytics & Statistics, previously referred to as the Department of Advanced Data Analytics, will leave the Toulouse Graduate School and be officially housed under their new home in College of Science starting August 15, 2025.

While the current degree plans the department offers will stay the same, the department will expand by welcoming two faculty members from the Department of Mathematics, as well as offering statistics courses currently being offered through Mathematics.

The department will continue to be located in the General Academic Building (GAB) on the Denton Campus, with the main office in GAB 102 and the Advising Suite in GAB 115.

Currently, the department offers five main degree programs and academic certificates, including a Master of Science in Advanced Data Analytics and an Undergraduate Certificate in Advanced Data Analytics. Find more information about the programs of study the department here.
