Dr. Richard Appiah is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Data Analytics & Statistics Department at UNT, bringing a rich background in academia and the financial services industry. He holds a Ph.D. in Computational Mathematics, an MS in Mathematics, and a Masters degree in Data Telecommunications and Networks. His expertise spans predictive analytics, market impact analysis, and advanced machine learning algorithm design. Dedicated to education, Dr. Richard Appiah has taught at both undergraduate and graduate levels and participated in curriculum development. At UNT, he advances his passion for teaching and research in advanced data analytics, data science, data security, ethical AI, and machine learning algorithms while mentoring students and fostering a dynamic learning environment.
